The 3rd Annual Insulator/Bottle Show & Sale was held in St. Joseph on Saturday, March 12, 2005. We were extremely pleased with the turnout this year, as we had a waiting list for the first time. All dealers were able to set up as there were some cancellations due to unexpected illnesses the week before the show. A total of 38 tables were sold to 32 different dealers.

A few good insulators came into the show from non-dealers. Some of the nicest were brought in by MVIC club member Kevin Keener. None of his were for sale, but he brought them for us to enjoy seeing. He recently purchased a very nice hall was very busy all morning with buyers - we hope everyone had a great show. Breakfast and lunch were provided 'in house' - a special thanks to Larry & Pat Whitlock, Bill & Linda Connell, Tom, Sylvia & Boone Jeffers, and Gerald & Norma Miller for their help.

We feel we have outgrown this facility, so we have found a larger place for next year. It is very convenient to the hotel area and has about 60 available tables. Mark your calendars for March 11, 2006. Dennis & I really enjoy hosting this show-hope to see next year.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jimmy Burns from Conroe, TX who was partially paralyzed in a fall on the way to our show.
